Mass of Thanksgiving Day
St. John Neumann Church
November 26 at 10:00 a.m.

Thanksgiving is primarily a family celebration, a time for families and friends to feast at the table with one another. Special table grace is prayed. The word grace comes from the Latin word gratiae, which means “thanks.” The word eucharist means thanksgiving. We hope you can join us for our Thanksgiving Day Mass on Thursday, November 26 at 10:00 a.m. as we come together as a family to celebrate and to give thanks for all God has given us, especially the gift of Jesus Christ.

Please bring canned goods and paper products to support our Pastoral Area Food Pantry, to help those in need.

Tuesday, December 8 ~ The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Church rightly honors the Blessed Virgin with a special devotion.  Everyone is invited to celebrate Mass as we honor the Immaculate Conception of Mary.

Parishioner ~ Tracy Kemme
Sisters of Charity ~ Tracy publishes blog entitled, Diary of a Sister-in-Traning.  She calls her work an, “intimate look at one young woman’s journey to becoming a Catholic sister.”   We invite you to read Tracy’s blog and follow along with her as she proceeds on her own journey:

Stewardship starts with God and His abundance. Our infinite God is the source of infinite abundance. All too often, however, we have a "scarcity mentality." All we can see is what we lack, what we need, what we want. The focus is not on God and His ability to provide for all our needs.
