Stations of the Cross during Lent…
Tracing Jesus’s journey from condemnation to crucifixion increases our sorrow for our sins and our desire for His help in avoiding temptations and in bearing our own crosses.  Stations of the Cross will be celebrated weekly:
Sundays at 7:00pm
Corpus Christi Church
Wednesdays at 6:00pm
at St. John the Baptist Church
Fridays at 6:00pm
St. John Neumann Church

Please join us as we meditate on His Passion, seeking to become more like Him in the virtues of obedience, humility, charity, patience and perseverance.

Lenten Almsgiving Project: St. Thomas More Parish of Paradise, CA

“Deacon Ray Helgeson left his home in Paradise on the morning of Nov. 8 with this wife Donna for daily Mass at the close-knit Butte County town’s only Catholic church.  They never arrived.”  Instead, they were interrupted and redirected by emergency crews.  They, and others like them, have depended on their faith, and the kindness and generosity of their neighbors to recover from this tragedy.  If you would like to contribute, you may place your offering into the baskets at Mass in an envelope marked “Almsgiving Project.”

All Are Welcome
No matter what your present status in the Catholic Church, no matter what your current family and marital situation, no matter what your personal history, age, background, race, etc., no matter what your own self-image; you are invited, welcomed, accepted, loved and respected here at St. John Neumann Parish.

Parishioner ~ Tracy Kemme
Sisters of Charity ~ Tracy publishes blog entitled, Diary of a Sister-in-Traning.  She calls her work an, “intimate look at one young woman’s journey to becoming a Catholic sister.”   We invite you to read Tracy’s blog and follow along with her as she proceeds on her own journey:

Stewardship starts with God and His abundance. Our infinite God is the source of infinite abundance. All too often, however, we have a "scarcity mentality." All we can see is what we lack, what we need, what we want. The focus is not on God and His ability to provide for all our needs.
