With a heavy heart, word has emerged of the death of Fr. Chris Coleman, pastor of the Winton Woods/Wyoming Pastoral Region (the pastoral region just to the east of my two parishes) due to an auto accident.

He is two years my junior as a priest, so we knew each other fairly well.  A good priest with a quick
laugh and smile, he enjoyed life and had many, many friends.

Please pray for the repose of his soul, for his parishioners and family as they mourn the loss of their pastor, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati has started construction to repair deteriorating sewer lines along Mill Road.  This will not affect traffic during the weekends so all lanes and access to the church will be open during weekend Mass.  Please note that traffic patterns will be changed during the week to accommodate the construction.  Delays may be experienced on Mill Road especially during rush hour.  All construction should be completed before our Labor Day festival unless we get a lot of wet weather this summer.

Parishioner ~ Tracy Kemme
Sisters of Charity ~ Tracy publishes blog entitled, Diary of a Sister-in-Traning.  She calls her work an, “intimate look at one young woman’s journey to becoming a Catholic sister.”   We invite you to read Tracy’s blog and follow along with her as she proceeds on her own journey:

Stewardship starts with God and His abundance. Our infinite God is the source of infinite abundance. All too often, however, we have a "scarcity mentality." All we can see is what we lack, what we need, what we want. The focus is not on God and His ability to provide for all our needs.
