Prayer Shawl Ministry
Care and love of handwork, such as knitting, crocheting, hairpin lace, and weaving, have been combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace.  The handmade shawls, lap robes, and prayer squares are given without charge.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry members pray and ask blessings for the recipient.  The intentions are continued throughout the creation of the handmade items.  When the items are completed there is a final blessing at monthly meetings prior to giving the items away.
